Bella here. First backstory, which just happens to be the longest part story so far. Get ready for an extremely LONG post.

Where does Knowledgeable and Violent come from? Why is Knowledgeable so knowledgeable? Why is Violent so violent?

Chapter 5 The Princess and the Pauper

Somewhere quite far away from the forest was a poor town. Violent used to live in that poor town. And as that name would suggest, her family was poor. So poor that Violent did not have enough food to eat everyday, going on continuous diets to the stage where she was all skin and bones and fairly shorter from the average height due to the lack of nutrition. How she dreamed of what it would be like to be rich and have enough food to eat everyday.

One day, Violent happened to pass by the royal castle. Curious, she tried to peer into the castle through the gaps in the gate. There she saw the princess wearing such fine clothes and a huge crown on her head. While Violent was still gaping at the magnificence (is that even a word?) of it all, a guard spotted her and attempted to pull her away.

Just then the princess turned around and saw what was happening and immediately stopped the guard. Instead of punishing her like Violent thought, the princess welcomed her into the palace.

The two girls became instant friends. Violent found out that the princess’s name was Knowledgeable, and vice versa. Violent then started to tell Knowledgeable stories of herself, and how she would spend all day playing in the mud with her friends. Knowledgeable was envious of how free Violent is and asked Violent to switch places with her. Knowledgeable would dress up in Violent’s clothes and pretend to be Violent while Violent would dress up in Knowledgeable’s clothes and pretend to be the princess. They could work out very easily since Knowledgeable and Violent looked rather alike. (Ok, I know you two actually don’t look alike, but I’m sure you all know what reference I’m using for this in real life)

Knowledgeable told Violent that she would be back in a few days and quietly sneaked out of the palace. In town, Knowledgeable came across some children playing together. She went up to them and said that she was the princess. The children thought that she was crazy and stayed away from her. Just then, Violent’s father saw Knowledgeable and thinking that it was Violent, took her home. Apparently, the family was moving to the main city of the area and Knowledgeable had no choice but to follow them, seeing as no one would believe her when she said that she was the princess and calling her crazy instead, moving away from this town and her palace.

Meanwhile, Violent was having her own problems in the palace. The people there kept calling her ‘princess’ and ‘your highness’ and stuff like that. What’s worse was that whenever she protested to being the princess, people would say ‘The princess has gone mad!’ Even Knowledgeable’s little sister didn’t believe her, thinking that she was pulling a prank. It got to the point where the king was considering calling a psychiatrist for Violent, not even bothering to listen to Violent’s explanations. Of course, this was a terrible move as it pissed Violent so much that she started beating up whoever called her princess or mad. Violent found out that this was the only way to make others listen to her, by being violent and instilling fear into their hearts (ok, I think this is a bit too sadistic, even for Jackie).

Circumstances weren’t going well for Knowledgeable either. She had somehow managed to get separated from Violent’s parents and was all alone in the world when she met a random stranger who decided to help him. Knowledgeable then gets into lots of trouble, like how the real story goes so I won’t type down what happens here. Being a princess, Knowledgeable studied a lot and reads up to 10 books a day. However, being out in the open, Knowledgeable got to experience lots of stuff she never would have been able to experience had she stayed cooped up in her palace, and this made her more knowledgeable.

Then there came the day when the king died and the princess was to be the new ruler. The ceremony for the princess was to take place in the main city, and that was where Violent and Knowledgeable met up again. It was here that they decided that they did not like society in this area, and decided to run away to the forest and start life anew. (And I mean that they just wanted to get away from this town, cause I know that SOME people *cough* Christie *cough* will think something along the lines of eloping) Knowledgeable’s little sister would take the place as the newest ruler. (Just had to clear this up, in case you think that Knowledgeable was irresponsible to leave the place with absolutely no ruler) Then went to the forest and it was there that they met the other dwarfs and lived there. (Explanation of how they all just happened to meet up together at the same time will be up next time)

Yes, I know that Christie and Kristy do not look alike, but come on, I'm sure that you guys know what factor I'm using for their 'similarity'. Also, yeah, this story is rather nonsensical and... really weird, but its really hard to come up with a backstory to explain each personality. I might not even be able to come up with a backstory for everyone. I'm also plotting another story, and I need some help. Personality wise, how would you describe Amelia and I?
